Being from East Africa, buying a house in the U.S was a little challenging. We were super confused about why and what we had to do. However, Paddio made it easy and simple for us to understand. Our agent John Haywood made sure we were comfortable moving foward with every step we took. We never felt forced nor rushed to complete anything. I would definitely recommend.

These folx gave me exactly what I needed on so many levels I don't even know where to start with singing their praises!!I have felt respected, heard, valued, and well-informed at every single point in the house-hunting process. They respected me as a genderfluid person and they valued my physical and emotional safety as they led me through the process of buying my first home so that I could be free of a violent situation as quickly and as stress-free as possible.Though my deadname was on documents for legal reasons, they have addressed me by my real name every step of the way -- even at the top of this automated survey I'm filling out! They even made sure the standard gifts I received (an extremely soft blanket, a tumbler, and a candle that smells amazing) were personalized with my real name instead of my legal name -- a special touch that absolutely melted me and meant the world to me. As I have personal trauma around my necronym, this has been so important for helping me feel safe with Paddio.Paddio itself also seems to be an ethical company, too. They offered down payment assistance (which I absolutely needed), they had the means of replacing my legal name with my real name at every step of the process where legally possible, and they seem to allow their employees at least some work-life boundaries, e.g. to take time off and have their work covered by other team members, to have weekends off, etc.As someone who cares about the ethics of companies I give large sums of money to, this was really good to see. Though it should be the norm, it isn't, and I really want to give props to Paddio for that.I do want to give a special shoutout to my loan officer, John Haywood. As a neurodivergent, transgender, queer millennial with trauma and anxiety, this process could have been so extremely overwhelming for me and my odds of interacting with people who respected me were slim -- but John was an absolute ally to me at every step of the way. I felt respected and understood by John (and the whole team!!), and my needs were not only met but actually anticipated -- which is not a privilege I often have.With no reservations, I would recommend Paddio (and John's team specifically) for people who are remotely like me.
Never thought that I would be approve with my first mortgage loan. I came here in US just exactly 2 yrs ago, when I get my pre approve loan I was just 22 months in US. I never had an issue getting the pre approve letter and never had an issue approving our loan. Thanks to Mr Makennon Doran and the team, we now have our dream home.
